In times of pandemic, such as that of COVID-19, the importance of multi- and interdisciplinary action for the management of health services, bedside care, implementation of public policies, distribution/regulation/control of inputs and immunobiologicals, restructuring of classes, remote learning, among other various aspects that enable society to receive health care. I welcome the authors and readers of this first issue of the journal, which has its scope focused on Health Sciences and emphasis on Interdisciplinarity, which is the path to the population's quality of life.
