Abstract

As much as we went through a period of significant drops in cases as well as in deaths from COVID-19 in Brazil, in the first months of 2022, from May we experienced a significant increase in positive cases of the disease. Reflecting on the transpandemic context, not necessarily on the infected or the virus itself, but in an indirect way, there are other diseases and pathologies that need adequate, individualized and safe treatment, and that had their early diagnosis and treatment made impossible by the risk or the difficulty in accessing health services at the height of the contamination; as well as pregnant women, who need adequate assistance to generate lives; victims of diverse violence and many other situations and particularities experienced in the health routine.
